Ms. Waggoner joined Nacht Law in August 2011. Ms. Waggoner will be sworn into the Michigan State Bar in November 2011.
Ms. Waggoner received her B.S. in Family Studies and Women's Studies from Central Michigan University in 2003. She received her J.D., Magna Cum Laude from Michigan State University College of Law in May 2011. During law school, Ms. Waggoner was Senior Managing Editor of the Michigan State Law Review. Prior to graduating from law school, Ms. Waggoner worked as an intern at Legal Services of South Central Michigan, the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Michigan, and in the chambers of the Honorable Avern Cohn in the Eastern District of Michigan. Ms. Waggoner also worked at Michigan State University College of Law's Small Business and Nonprofit Clinic, where she handled a variety of corporate and nonprofit cases, as well as several mediation competitions. Ms. Waggoner also has a history of civil rights work with the Anti-Defamation League in Michigan.
Prior to entering law school, Ms. Waggoner worked at Holy Cross Children's Services as a Treatment Specialist in their residential sex offender treatment program.
Ms. Waggoner is a resident of East Lansing.
