Samuel L. Estenson is an associate at NachtLaw who represents clients in employment, civil rights, and commercial litigation in federal and state courts. He is licensed to practice law in Michigan and in federal court in the Eastern District of Michigan.
Sam earned his law degree in 2017 from the University of Michigan Law School, where he worked as a Clinical Fellow in the law school's International Transactions Clinic assisting NGOs and global non-profits, and interned with a federal district judge, the Hon. Judith E. Levy, in the Eastern District of Michigan. Sam earned his Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, in political Science from Eastern Michigan University, where he was on the mock trial team.
After law school, Sam was the recipient of an MLaw Legal Practitioner Fellowship and worked in the chambers of the Hon. David Grand in the Eastern District of Michigan. He then worked at a large Detroit law firm representing Fortune 500 companies in complex litigation. Sam joined NachtLaw in 2019, eager to put his litigation experience to work for the people and small businesses that make Michigan special.
