We are happy to announce new growth. We need more staff to meet the needs of Michigan’s workers confront the legal and employment issues they face.  With additional attorneys and staff we look forward to helping the workers of Michigan on employment issues;  from discrimination and harassment to overtime pay and medical leave issues, defending against overreaching non-competes and negotiating employment contracts and severance packages.

OUR OPEN POSITIONS

MID-LEVEL LITIGATION ATTORNEY

The Mid-Level Litigation Attorney will be a new member of a growing, dynamic and highly collaborative team of experienced labor and employment law attorneys and paralegals.

Requirements:

• Three – five years post law school experience.

• Self-starter able to competently litigate with minor supervision.

• Excellent research and writing skills.

• Employment law experience with more than a dozen depositions; argued motions and understands strategy.

• Member of the Michigan State Bar

JUNIOR ATTORNEY

The Junior Attorney will be mentored by partners and will obtain significant litigation experience in the first year. The Attorney will practice primarily in the area of plaintiff’s employment, including, but not limited to, discrimination cases, FLSA, whistleblower protection, First Amendment and sexual harassment. Excellent research/writing/academic pedigree/commitment to Ann Arbor and plaintiff’s employment work preferred. Individuals with one-two years of judicial clerkship or law practice experience preferred but not necessary. Must be eligible for or a member of the Michigan State Bar.
