Disaster unemployment assistance is now available to residents of Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne Counties who lost out on wages due to flooding in August. Federal funding through FEMA is available for up to 26 weeks of benefits for people who don't otherwise qualify for state unemployment benefits. You may qualify if the following is true:
