Everyone is aware that many jobs now allow for remote work. A wonderful result of this new flexibility among employers is that disabled people are finding more work and better quality jobs. Disabled workers are now employed at rates more than ten percent above where they were in January 2000, before covid. Hopefully, even when the next recession comes, these gains will not be reversed because of a permanent shift in the nature of the workplace.
