This powerful article published in the New York Times, “Miscarrying at Work: The Physical Toll of Pregnancy Discrimination“, by Jessica Silver-Greenberg shares the stories of women who have been denied light duty during pregnancy and lost their babies.

Our firm has been fighting for the right of women to keep working, but in a safe fashion for mother and baby, since we opened our doors in 1996. Only in the past few years has the Supreme Court clarified that pregnant women have the same right to light duty as injured workers. There is no need to sacrifice the safety of the mother or baby in order for a pregnant woman to earn a living.
