Over 83,000 leading attorneys globally are eligible to vote on the legal abilities of other lawyers based on their specific practice areas around the world. To be eligible for a ranking in a particular practice area and metro region, a law firm must have at least one lawyer who is currently recognized in Best Lawyers in that particular practice area and metro. Lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed; therefore, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor.
